Alton is known for our compassionate and responsive care, combining state-of-the-art facilities with a warm and human approach to medicine. 

Alton Memorial is a training site for Family Medicine residents through Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Springfield, Illinois, as well as a student rotation location for nursing, pharmacy, and radiology through Southern Illinois University of Edwardsville, Lewis and Clark Community College, and Southwestern Illinois College.
