What does a hospital volunteer do?
- Choose your role – there are various openings from which to choose,and training is provided!
- Choose your level of activity – there are openings for those who wish to stand and walk, as well as those who prefer more sedentary positions
- Choose your shift – there are openings for both mornings and afternoons on any day of the week you prefer
What qualifications do I need?
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Must be willing to purchase and wear a volunteer uniform
- Must fill out an application – see online application below; You must also complete a background check at time of interview
- Must complete a new volunteer orientation
- Must display excellent customer service skills
- Must be willing to work a minimum of eight hours a month
- Must receive COVID-19 and seasonal flu vaccines, or agree to weekly testing if filing medical/religious exemption
