ST. LOUIS, Mo. (December 9, 2025) – U.S. News & World Report has named eight BJC Health hospitals as 2026 High Performing hospitals for Maternity Care—the highest award a hospital can earn as part of its Best Hospitals for Maternity Care annual study.

BJC Health has reached an agreement with Aetna on all key terms for a new, multi-year agreement for commercial, or group, plans and a one-year agreement for its Medicare Advantage (MA) plans. This agreement ensures BJC HealthCare and Saint Luke’s entities, including hospitals and physician and provider practices, remain in-network.

Barnes-Jewish Hospital ranked No. 1 in St. Louis and Missouri and is nationally ranked in 11 out of 14 specialties.

BJC Health System has received 82 recognitions for clinical excellence by U.S. News & World Report, including national recognition for Barnes-Jewish Hospital in 11 out of 14 specialties.
