St. Louis—BJC Health (formerly BJC Health System) today unveiled its new evolved brand, dropping the word “System” from its name and logo. The new brand unites the organization’s two regions, BJC HealthCare in the East and Saint Luke’s in the West, under a cohesive identity.
Additionally, BJC Health adopted the new tagline, “Because every moment deserves exceptional care.” The updated brand and tagline represent BJC’s commitment to compassion, consistency, and teamwork in every interaction and function across the organization.
“Exceptional care isn’t defined by a single moment or clinical experience alone, but by the compassion, consistency, and teamwork our 48,000 caregivers bring to every interaction from check-in to end of life care and every point in between,” said Nick Barto, president and CEO of BJC Health. “More than a logo or tagline, this connects our legacy to our shared future as one, united system.”
BJC Health is one of the largest nonprofit healthcare organizations in the U.S. with 24 hospital campuses and hundreds of care locations, serving Missouri, southern Illinois, and eastern Kansas. It is the largest private employer in the state of Missouri with 48,000 employees.
The updated BJC Health brand was developed with input from patients, employees, and the community. The new name and logo will be rolled out in phases starting in early 2026.
