Office of Patient & Family Affairs

Should you or your family have a question or concern about your experience at our hospital, we would like to hear from you. Help us see things through your eyes as we strive to deliver exceptional care to our patients.
We suggest you first discuss your concern with your nurse, the department manager, or your doctor. If the concern remains unresolved, the Patient & Family Affairs staff is available Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m. to help you.

The dining options at Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital provides convenient and satisfying meals for patients, visitors, and staff with comfortable dining room with an option for outdoor patio seating.

Location: Lower level of the main hospital.

Hours:

  • Breakfast: 6:30 a.m.–9:00 a.m. (Monday–Friday)
  • Lunch: 11:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m. (Monday–Friday)
Noon–1:30 p.m. (Saturday & Sunday)
  • Dinner: 5:30 p.m.–6:30 p.m. (Monday–Friday)

  • From Interstate 44, take Sullivan Exit 225. Continue west on the South Service Road to Highway D. Follow Highway D for about a mile to the hospital near the intersection of Sappington Bridge Road and Highway D.

All proceeds from the Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital gift Shop, operated by the hospital's Auxiliary and volunteers, benefit the hospital. The shop offers a variety of items to brighten your visit or support patients, including:

Sending an online greeting card is a quick, free way to brighten a patient’s day at Missouri Baptist Sullivan. Simply fill out the form, and our staff will hand-deliver your message to the patient’s room.

  • Include the patient’s first and last name, and room number if available.
  • We offer this service Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m. (no weekend or after-hours deliveries).
  • E-greetings are only delivered to inpatients listed in the hospital directory.
  • To include a photo or file, use the “Create Your Own Card” feature.

Spiritual Care & Chapel

Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital provides spiritual care and support for patients and families in times of health crises. Pastoral care volunteers regularly visit patients to offer sacramental and devotional support. Upon request, your clergy can be notified.

Chaplains

A chaplain is available to assist patients of all faiths and their families. If you wish to speak with a chaplain, notify your nurse. For urgent needs, ask your nurse to page the chaplain.

Chapel

The hospital chapel is available for quiet reflection and prayer. For specific location details or additional spiritual care services, consult hospital staff.

Interpretive Services

Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital is committed to effective communication for all patients and visitors. Free aids and services are available for individuals with disabilities and those with limited English proficiency. These include:

  • Qualified interpreters
  • Sign language interpreters
  • Written information in alternative formats (large print, Braille, audio, etc.)
  • Language assistance services, such as translated materials and phone interpreters.

For assistance with interpretive services, notify your nurse or a member of the hospital staff.
