Michael Butler II, MD, is a board-certified neurologist with additional board certifications in epilepsy and neuromuscular medicine, who treats patients ages 18 and older.
He specializes in diagnosing and managing seizure disorders, epilepsy, gait and balance issues, neuropathies, myopathies, and other neuromuscular disorders, including myasthenia gravis and small-fiber neuropathy. He also assists with the transition from pediatric to adult neurological care. He uses EEG, EMG, NCS, and EP studies to diagnose and localize various neurologic disorders. He utilizes neuromodulation for treating epilepsy and performs skin biopsies to assess both small-fiber neuropathy and alpha synuclein deposition. Additionally, he administers Botox® for migraines.

Dr. Butler earned his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He completed his neurology residency at WashU Medicine and Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri, followed by fellowships in epilepsy and neuromuscular medicine at WashU Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri.
