Five sets of twins are taking their sibling bond a step further by embarking on another milestone side by side: attending nursing school together, all enrolled at the same time at Barnes-Jewish College Goldfarb School of Nursing.
Though sharing a similar experience, the twins arrived at Goldfarb from remarkably different places.
Sisters Raonna Armstrong and Tiannna Brown started their journey in the Minnesota Army National Guard, where they both served as chemical operations specialists.
For twins Madyson and Rylee Bohnert, it felt natural to follow the path of their mother, who served as a NICU nurse for most of their lives.
KSDK sat down with each of the twins, including Kelsey and Katie Boyer, Sydney and William Grant, and Holly and Heidi Carberry, to discuss their journey.
Dr. Angela Clark, president of Goldfarb School of Nursing, also highlights how the compassionate bond between twins is likely a natural precursor to a successful career in nursing and patient care.
