Volunteers play an important role at Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital. They help us extend our mission of service to our patients, families, staff, community, and one another.

Volunteers help promote an environment of emotional, spiritual, and physical well-being.

Our volunteers are compassionate, friendly, enthusiastic people who are interested in service a few hours each week at one of our campuses. They come from varied backgrounds and have multiple interests. Minimum age for a volunteer is 18 years old.

• Pet therapy – must be certified through Duo Dogs or CHAMP Assistance Dogs
