BJC HealthCare is committed to serving our patients and community with the best care and staffing our facilities with the best top providers across the country.
Five hospitals part of BJC HealthCare, Barnes-Jewish Hospital, Christian Hospital, Memorial Hospital, Missouri Baptist Medical Center, and St. Louis Children’s Hospital offer pharmacy residency programs. The goal of BJC HealthCare’s pharmacy residency program is to prepare residents to provide optimal and compassionate pharmaceutical care, communicate effectively, educate themselves and others, and demonstrate commitment to the profession of pharmacy.
In all programs, clinical experiences are tailored to meet the needs of the individual resident and are based on experience and future career preferences. Residents receive one-on-one instruction and guidance from a talented group of over 50 clinical pharmacy specialists and numerous other patient care pharmacists.
In addition, they benefit from interacting with the outstanding faculty of the WashU Medicine working in a multitude of medical school departments and with the numerous physicians in training.
