Labor and delivery

BJC HealthCare partners with WashU Medicine physicians, BJC Medical Group, and regional providers to deliver expert labor and delivery care for both routine and high-risk situations. Our childbirth centers are staffed by experienced nurses, obstetricians, WashU Medicine maternal‑fetal medicine specialists, and neonatologists, with immediate access to advanced expertise when needed. Our childbirth centers provide a quiet, private, and supportive environment designed around your comfort. Labor and delivery rooms are thoughtfully planned to support a calm, joyful birth experience. Depending on location, you may have dedicated antepartum, recovery, and postpartum rooms or a single private room that supports your entire childbirth journey from admission through discharge.
