Size matters when it comes to dinner plates

Does plate size really matter when it comes to watching your weight?  BJC ACO wants you to know that as it turns out, size does matter.

Researchers found that you’re likely to clean your plate, regardless of serving size. In fact, if you use a large serving spoon and large plate or bowl, you’re more likely to help yourself to over 50 percent more food than if you use smaller utensils and dishes.

You may find yourself more mentally satisfied if you eat from a small plate that is heaping full than from a large plate with an entrée in the middle, even though both have the same amount of food.
