About Tariq Quadri, MD
Tariq Quadri, MD, is a board-certified internal medicine and infectious disease physician who sees patients 18 years and older. He provides preventative care, including annual wellness exams, vaccinations and routine physicals. Dr. Quadri manages various illnesses, including colds and flu, allergies and chronic conditions such as asthma, diabetes, cardiovascular illnesses and infectious diseases. Dr. Quadri prioritizes his patients' health and well-being. He emphasizes preventative medicine and early detection of potential health issues and has a special interest in HIV, infectious diseases, and integrative medicine. He advises his patients on how to lead healthy lifestyles to maintain optimal health. Dr. Quadri's health care approach centers on addressing the causes of his patients’ illnesses using non-surgical methods whenever possible. Dr. Quadri is passionate about teaching, including clinical staff, medical students and residents. He enjoys running, cycling, and swimming, as well as participating in triathlons, marathons, and U.S. Masters Swimming competitions. Dr. Quadri earned his medical degree from Jinnah Sindh Medical University in Karachi, Pakistan. He completed his internal medicine internship and residency at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York, New York, and his infectious disease fellowship at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York, New York. The BJC Medical Group (BJCMG) partners with an independent survey company, Professional Research Consultants (PRC), to gather feedback directly from patients about their experiences. PRC sends electronic surveys to BJCMG patients following a medical visit, asking them to evaluate different aspects of their care.
