About Stephanie Baker, DO
Stephanie Baker, DO, specializes in family medicine. Dr. Baker earned her medical degree from A.T. Still University in Kirksville, Missouri. She completed her residency in family medicine at the HCA Healthcare Research Medical Center in Kansas City. Patients of any age can see Dr. Baker for all their primary care needs, including annual wellness exams, well-woman exams, and osteopathic manipulation. She also treats common chronic illnesses, including diabetes and hypertension. Dr. Baker chose to specialize in family medicine because she is passionate about treating the whole person and the whole family. She utilizes various forms of treatment, including traditional medicine, osteopathic manipulation, behavioral health, and integrative medicine, to address all aspects of her patient's health needs. Dr. Baker grew up in Effingham, IL, but has fond memories of visiting St. Louis for school field trips, biking the Katy Trail with friends, and cheering on the St. Louis Blues. Now, she and her husband enjoy visiting local parks and trails along with their rescue dog, as well as exploring new restaurants. Dr. Baker is part of BJC Medical Group of Missouri, a well-established, multi-specialty physician group.

The BJC Medical Group (BJCMG) partners with an independent survey company, Professional Research Consultants (PRC), to gather feedback directly from patients about their experiences. PRC sends electronic surveys to BJCMG patients following a medical visit, asking them to evaluate different aspects of their care. Once a provider receives at least 30 reviews, responses are calculated by our survey vendor and posted to the provider's profile using a five-star rating system.
