About Jessica Eakins, CNM
Jessica Eakins, CNM, is a board-certified nurse midwife who sees patients 13 years and older. For gynecologic services, she can provide annual women’s wellness exams, contraceptive counseling, family planning, and treatment for endometriosis, infertility, polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), and urinary incontinence. For obstetrics, her care extends throughout pregnancy with prenatal care, childbirth, postpartum care, breastfeeding education, lactation support and beyond.
Jessica spent five years working as a labor and delivery nurse and pursued a career in midwifery because she finds providing care before, during, and after childbirth to be rewarding. She enjoys working with patients during this exciting period in their lives and empowers women to be an active voice in their birth plans to ensure their physical and emotional needs are met.
Originally from Pennsylvania, Jessica loves living in Sullivan, Missouri. When she isn’t caring for patients, she enjoys swimming, fishing and baking with her family.
Jessica received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Maryville University in St. Louis and her Master of Science in Nursing from Frontier Nursing University in Versailles, Kentucky. She completed her midwifery internship at BJC Medical Group Midwifery in St. Louis, Missouri.

The BJC Medical Group (BJCMG) partners with an independent survey company, Professional Research Consultants (PRC), to gather feedback directly from patients about their experiences. PRC sends electronic surveys to BJCMG patients following a medical visit, asking them to evaluate different aspects of their care. Once a provider receives at least 30 reviews, responses are calculated by our survey vendor and posted to the provider's profile using a five-star rating system.
