Emily Ratchford, MD

Emily Ratchford, MD, is a family medicine physician who treats patients of all ages. She provides preventive services, including annual physicals, screenings, and immunizations. She treats illnesses such as colds, flu, and infections, and manages chronic conditions, including diabetes, high blood pressure, obesity, thyroid disorders, and mental health conditions such as anxiety and depression. She is passionate about women’s wellness and helps women understand and address perimenopause and menopause symptoms to improve quality of life.

Dr. Ratchford values building relationships with patients beyond their medical conditions, allowing her to offer personalized, proactive care that promotes wellness and sustainable health improvements. She celebrates patient successes and helps them feel understood, supported, and confident in their commitment to long-term health.

After traveling the world, Dr. Ratchford is thrilled to be back in St. Louis practicing medicine in the community where she was born and raised. She enjoys exploring the city's parks with her husband and children.

Dr. Ratchford earned her medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana. She completed her family medicine residency at Mercy Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. She earned a Master of Science in Africa & International Development at the University of Edinburgh in Edinburgh, Scotland, and a Master of Public Health & Tropical Medicine at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana.
