Andrew Gaillardetz, MD, is a board-certified family medicine physician who treats newborns, children, and adults. He provides preventive care, including annual pediatric and adult physicals, well-woman exams, prenatal and postpartum care, vaccinations, and care for LGBTQ+ and transgender individuals. He addresses a wide range of conditions, including colds, mental health and addiction, allergies, and gastrointestinal issues. He also offers acupuncture, skin procedures, joint injections, lifestyle counseling, and contraception.
Dr. Gaillardetz enjoys caring for patients of all ages and stages of life. He advocates for patients, ensuring they receive the care they need and deserve, and he provides compassionate, patient-centered care. He manages as many conditions and procedures as possible in his office so patients can receive care from someone they know and trust.
After living in various parts of the country, Dr. Gaillardetz is pleased to be living and caring for patients in Southern Illinois. He enjoys cooking, reading, playing and watching sports, and traveling with his family.
Dr. Gaillardetz earned his medical degree from Tufts School of Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts. He completed his family medicine residency at Southwest Illinois Family Medicine Residency at Scott Air Force Base in O’Fallon, Illinois. He is a former Major in the United States Air Force and member of the Medical Service. This practice is a part of BJC Medical Group of Illinois.
