Sept. 20 Career Resource Center Open House

Sept. 2022 - BJC, Tarlton Corporation and McCarthy Building Companies have launched a Construction and Healthcare Career Resource Center – Thinking Beyond Today. It is located at Barnes-Jewish Hospital’s Campus Renewal Project on Kingshighway. The Career Resource Center is a space to provide information to high school students and community agencies on career opportunities in our industries.

The success of the program hinges on the collaboration of unions, contractors, schools and community agencies to showcase the careers in union construction trades highlighting the job training and competitive compensation through real-life interaction and use of technology. BJC HealthCare also features opportunities in healthcare and resources for career training.

The objective is to promote a community culture that supports and encourages individuals to seek opportunities in construction and healthcare and inspires by sharing industry knowledge and career paths for young men and women.
