What is the Employee Giving Campaign?

The Barnes-Jewish St. Peters & Progress West Foundation funds programs and services above and beyond those covered by normal hospital operations. The Employee Giving Campaign is your opportunity to participate in the Foundation’s culture of philanthropy and give to the programs and services that support our patients, their families, and our fellow team members, because together we give relief, compassion, inspiration, hope, and so much more. Together we can do more!

Make a donation online or you can donate by payroll deduction, cash, credit card, or check. Foundation team members will also be rounding on departments to distribute sign-up information Nov. 24–Dec. 12.

The 2026 shirt design has arrived. This year’s design will be available as either a T-shirt or a sweatshirt. Shirts and sweatshirts will be mailed directly to employees who contribute starting the week of Jan. 19. If your level includes a super swag bag, those will be delivered directly to your department. 

2026 Employee Giving T-Shirt or Sweatshirt Sizing: Unisex, S-4XL

Employees opting for a minimum donation of $1 per pay period or $26 one-time contribution will receive a T-shirt. Employees opting for a minimum donation of $3 per pay period or $78 one-time contribution will receive a sweatshirt.

You can register online through one of the methods below. You can also visit the gift shop at either Progress West Hospital or Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital during their normal business hours and scan the QR codes posted there to sign up online. 

Barnes-Jewish St. Peters & Progress West Hospital Employees may make their contribution by credit card or payroll deduction.

The funds raised in the 2026 campaign will fund the following programs and services:

• Help to cover the expense of medical devices or medications not covered by insurance.
• Provide therapy services including horticulture, yoga, music, massage, or pet therapies for patients to enhance the healing process.
• Provide specialized skin protection cream for radiation treatments.
• Provide necessary lodging or transportation for patients.
• Supply comfort and compassion to patients through our patient experience carts.
• Provide scholarships for newer team members to continue their nursing education.
• Provide uniform support for technicians just entering the workforce.
• Supply newborn resources like books, rattles, blankets, diapers, and more. This helps out families who need extra support.
• Breakfast, lunch, coffee, and more for an entire unit when they need it most.
• Supply pediatric teddy bears given to our younger patients coming through our Emergency Departments.
• Free health screening resources and public vaccine clinics for community members.
• Help to expand health-conscience programming in our local schools.
• Provide space and resources to host regular blood drives.
