Last fall, Pam Ludy, 65, took a trip with her sister to North Carolina. But Pam, who has osteoarthritis in both knees, had a hard time walking.

Deirdre Parnell was diagnosed with diabetes more than eight years ago. She then began experiencing pain in her feet, which spread to her legs and hands. Eventually, the pain grew so intense she had to take a leave of disability at work.

Chenitra Grimes-Washington recently returned with family members to the Christian Hospital (CH) and Northwest HealthCare (NWHC) Emergency Departments to thank her caregivers for their lifesaving work last fall when she arrived at NWHC as a COVID patient and shortly thereafter went into cardiac arrest and was transported to CH.
