Advanced training and expertise
- For decades, Barnes-Jewish has been verified by the American College of Surgeons as a Level 1 Trauma Center, the nation’s highest designation.
- Access to trauma experts across all specialties, including orthopedic surgery, neurosurgery, anesthesiology, emergency medicine, radiology, internal medicine, and critical care. Other capabilities include cardiac, hand, microvascular surgery, and hemodialysis.
