Before your appointment

To schedule an evaluation, call 314-953-8100.

During your first visit, a licensed mental health professional, typically a nurse or therapist, will complete a comprehensive evaluation. This may include a mental health assessment, a substance use assessment, or both. The evaluation helps determine whether the Intensive Outpatient Program is the right fit for your needs.

Patients should not expect to begin treatment on the same day as their evaluation.

Please arrive 15 minutes early to allow time for registration and any necessary paperwork.

Bring the following items with you:

  • Photo ID or driver’s license
  • Insurance card

Free parking is available in the lot behind Medical Office Building 2.

The Intensive Outpatient Program meets 9 a.m.–noon on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

Most patients participate in the program for a minimum of four weeks. The average treatment length is six to eight weeks. Your length of treatment will depend on your needs, goals, and care plan.
