Allergies and immunology specialties and services

Our immunology and allergy specialists use an array of tools to diagnose allergies. Your diagnosis methods may include:

Allergy skin testing
Also called a skin prick test, this evaluation exposes you to specific allergens (substances that cause allergic reactions). The results tell us what kind of allergies you have.

Blood tests
We take a blood sample to test for specific allergens.

Rhinoscopy
We use a thin tube to look inside your nose and at the back of your throat. This evaluation can help us diagnose or rule out allergies or asthma.

Drug therapy
We prescribe the latest medications to manage and reduce symptoms. Our doctors recommend the right medication for you based on your symptoms and health history.

Allergy shots
Allergy immunotherapy, also known as allergy shots, involves getting regular injections. Each injection contains a tiny amount of a specific allergen to help you build tolerance. We only recommend allergy shots after conducting a thorough evaluation to determine the severity of your allergies.
