After more than a year in St. Louis Children’s Hospital being treated for congenital heart failure, 9-year-old Dash Burr got the ultimate birthday gift.

An Iowa State football super fan, Dash finally received a new heart, a surprise parade from the hospital’s staff, and a special message from his hero, Iowa State football quarterback Rocco Becht.
