Sickle Cell Outpatient Treatment Center at Barnes-Jewish Hospital

Overview
Exceptional outpatient treatment to help people manage the symptoms of sickle cell disease. At the Sickle Cell Treatment Center, people who have received referrals can receive intravenous (IV) fluids to help manage the symptoms of sickle cell disease, like pain, shortness of breath, and swelling of the hands and feet. While this isn’t a walk-in clinic, appointments can be made through your primary care physician or a specialist.
