Before your appointment

Here's what to know before you arrive for your infusion treatment:

  • Bring a photo ID and your insurance
  • Bring a list of your current medications
  • If you’re bringing a child who is 12 or younger, please bring another adult who can watch them during your treatment. Children 12 and under are not allowed in the treatment area and must be accompanied by an adult in the waiting room.

     

What happens during infusion therapy?

  • Our team will verify you are well enough to receive treatment that day
  • A registered nurse will place an IV in your hand or arm
  • Your medication will be ordered and prepared by our on-site pharmacy
  • Once treatment begins, you may have one visitor over the age of 12 with you in the treatment room

What insurance do you accept?

What parking is available for the Barnes-Jewish Hospital MS Infusion Center at Town and Country?

Self-parking is available on the surface lots surrounding Buildings A and B on the Missouri Baptist Medical Center campus. Complimentary valet parking is available at the entrance of Buildings A and B.

What MS infusion drugs are available?

Some of the MS infusion therapies offered include Ocrevus®, Zunovo®, Lemtrada®, Tysabri®, and Briumvi®. Available treatments may change over time and are tailored to each patient. Call 314-996-4186 to confirm the available therapies at this location.

What is the temperature like in the infusion center?

The MS Infusion Center is kept cool. Please plan to dress accordingly, warm blankets are available.

Can I bring food or a drink to my appointment?

Yes, you are welcome to bring food and beverages with you to your appointment. We have a limited supply of juices, crackers, and chips for our patients. 

Do I need someone to drive me home after an infusion?

This depends on the medication and how your body reacts to specific premedications. Some premedications given can make you feel drowsy. We recommend arranging someone to drive you home after your first treatment.
