If you need to be tested for COVID-19, there are multiple options in our region, such as BJC Convenient Care and other non-emergency medical centers. Check with your local public health department, which often offers free testing options. You can also contact your primary care physician. The ER is not the best place to receive a COVID-19 test.

Additional options include many retail pharmacies such as CVS and Walgreens.
BJC Convenient Care locations are also an option for COVID testing for those ages 2 and older. We have seven convenient locations across the St. Louis Metro area. Click below to find a Convenient Care location near you that offers COVID testing and reserve your spot in line today.
BJC emergency departments do not offer stand-alone testing services. If you do not have symptoms or do not need immediate care, an emergency department is not the best place for testing. Emergency room visits require a fee or co-pay. Patients are prioritized by severity of illness or injury, so individuals without symptoms seeking testing may experience extended waiting times.
