BJC emergency departments do not offer stand-alone testing services. If you do not have symptoms or do not need immediate care, an emergency department is not the best place for testing. Emergency room visits require a fee or co-pay. Patients are prioritized by severity of illness or injury, so individuals without symptoms seeking testing may experience extended waiting times.
