Health-Risk Appraisal

Appraisal includes a detailed questionnaire discussing tobacco, nutrition, stress, exercise and medical history. Individuals receive a report, and an aggregate report is prepared for the employer with 50-plus participants.

All screenings include blood pressure; height; weight; body mass index (BMI) or waist and hip measurements; tobacco use and exercise history; immediate individual interpretation of results with supporting educational materials, recommendations for changes and referrals to other resources as appropriate.

As we age, muscles tighten and joint range of motion can diminish. This can slow energetic lifestyles and hinder day-to-day activities. A regular stretching program can help lengthen muscles and restore vigor.

Grip Strength
The grip strength test measures the muscular strength of the upper extremities. There is a strong correlation between grip strength and overall upper body strength. Strength training is an important component of a physical fitness program. It helps muscles become stronger and improve tone, appearance and endurance. This helps increase energy, avoid injury, perform daily activities and improve athletic performance.

Missouri Baptist Medical Center Mammography Van

Provides a 3D screening mammogram and educational information. Mammograms are read by board-certified, mammography-dedicated radiologists and reviewed again with a computer-aided detection system.
