Awarded by the Commission on Laboratory Accreditation of the College of American Pathologists (CAP), the accreditation is based on the results of an October on-site inspection. The inspection process ensures the highest standard of care for laboratory patients. 

Christian Hospital Labs and Nuclear Medicine Department Earn Honors 
The Christian Hospital and Northwest HealthCare laboratories were awarded the highest level of accreditation by the College of American Pathologists, and the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission made a surprise inspection to the Nuclear Medicine Department and identified no violations.
