Barnes-Jewish leads the way for BJC hospitals in U.S. News rankings
Barnes-Jewish Hospital and its physician partners at Washington University School of Medicine
are once again listed among the nation’s elite medical centers in U.S. News & World Report’s annual list of
“Best Hospitals,” ranking No. 11 in the country. Barnes-Jewish Hospital is also
again ranked No. 1 in both Missouri and the metro St. Louis area.
BJC hospitals were ranked by U.S. News as
among the top hospitals in Missouri and their respective regions. Missouri Baptist Medical Center is ranked No. 2 in metro St. Louis and No. 4 in
Missouri. Boone Hospital Center in Columbia, Mo., is ranked as a top
hospital in the Central Missouri region and No. 3 in the state. The adult
hospital rankings were released Aug. 2, 2016.
In pediatric rankings announced
in June, BJC’s St. Louis Children’s Hospital was rated among the Best
Children’s Hospitals in the country in all 10 pediatric specialties.
