Food & Nutrition Services for BJH north will relocate to the BJH Parkview Tower. Additionally, a new central kitchen in the BJC Institute of Health began producing bulk items, and the hospital kitchens are “finishing” kitchens. This new model increases the efficiency of food preparation and minimize repetitive tasks at each kitchen.
Each hospital kitchen continues to support all functions and services required to deliver meals to inpatients, outpatients, staff and visitors. Services include patient dining, clinical nutrition, on-unit supplies and guest meals, retail food services, catering and vending.
