Can taking Claritin raise blood sugar levels

From Ask the Pharmacist

The only way that I can see that Claritin (loratadine) would be able to raise blood sugar levels is if someone would be taking the Claritin Childrens Syrup in large doses. (several bottles per week). There are no contraindications or precautions for diabetes and Claritin.
