My 3 yr old has been taking prednisone and albuterol. Is giving both these meds every 3-4 hours too much?

This is a question that should be posed to the pediatrician that prescribed these medications. Normally oral prednisone is given once daily and albuterol can be given every 3 to 4 hours, for severe asthma. Please call the physician.
