How many milliliters of promethazine plain syrup can I give my 68 lbs child that's having a runny nose, watery eyes and cough that's caused from a nasal drip?

Promethazine (Phenergan) is a prescription phenothiazine (neuroleptic) drug that is usually prescribed as an anti-emetic or for motion sickness. It is often used "off label" for allergy symptoms. Since this requires a prescription, you should give the dose the pediatrician has ordered for the child. Do not give medications to people they were not intended or prescribed for.
