Can I take cipro & flexril or do they interact?

A rare and infrequent interaction may occur between Cipro (ciprofloxacin) and Flexeril (cyclobenzaprine). These drugs may be taken together only under close supervision from your doctor. Taking these drugs together can increase the risk of a dangerous change in heartbeat or heart rhythm. Contact you prescriber immediately if you experience chest pain, dizziness, fainting or falling spells, palpitations, shortness of breath, or a change in your heart beat (such as a fast or irregular heart beat).

The Flexeril may cause drowsiness, please be careful taking this if you must be alert.

The Cipro should be taken until gone unless otherwise prescribed by the physician.
