Can i take 500mg ibuprofen with fluconazole tablet?

There can be an interaction between ibuprofen (Motrin, Advil) and fluconazole (Diflucan). Fluconazole may lead to increased blood levels of ibuprofen. Side effects from ibuprofen may get worse if you take fluconazole. Your prescriber may need to adjust your dose of ibuprofen while you are receiving fluconazole; DO NOT adjust your dose without talking to your prescriber. If you notice new or worsening side effects such as stomach pain or heartburn, bleeding, difficulty passing urine or decreased urination, notify your health care provider. Always take the ibuprofen with food. Take the fluconazole until finished.
