I have a 4 year old with a nasty cough. She has asthma and I wanted to know if it's safe to give her her inhaler after giving her Tylenol?

There are no direct drug interactions between Tylenol (acetaminophen) and albuterol (Ventolin, Pro-Air), the most commonly used asthma inhaled drug. Be sure to follow the directions from the doctor on the inhaler.

The dosing limits of Tylenol in children is 10-15mg per kg (2.2 pounds) per dose and not more than 5 doses in 24 hours. So if the child weighs 44lb (20kg), the dose would be 200-300mg per dose.
