I have spinal stenosis and osteoarthritis. Would I be wiser to have physical therapy or work with a 24-Hour Fitness trainer?

I would consult a physical therapist or medical professional prior to starting your exercise program, as a therapist or spine specialist will be able to determine the severity of your condition and give some recommendations.

If you choose to not use a physical therapist, I would find a fitness professional who is very experienced, holds at least a Bachelor's degree in exercise science or physiology, and has a history of working with people with back injuries.
