From the foods offered at BJC, can you make some breakfast, lunch and dinner suggestions that would help me lose weight?

The hospitals in BJC HealthCare vary in the foods they provide, so an actual menu would be difficult, but I can give you some healthy selections based on foods most of our cafeterias offer.

Breakfast: Cereal (Cheerios, Raisin Bran) or English muffin, skim milk or yogurt, banana or orange

Lunch: Deli sandwich (turkey, lettuce tomato, mustard), apple, salad from the salad bar (little dressing — low-fat or fat-free)

Dinner: Baked chicken or other baked entree, steamed vegetable, rice or dinner roll, fruit

Bring your lunch a couple days a week to help save on calories and fat. Some BJC facilities offer Weight Watchers entrees and Flavors 450. Even a plain hamburger is a better choice than a cheeseburger. Skip the fries. Opt for fresh fruit.
