What is the daily recommended intake for grains?

The daily recommended intake for grains can vary based on a person's individual energy needs. But it's been recommended to have 6-11 servings a day, the lower end for women, upper end for men.

A serving is 1 ounce of a bread product, 1/2 bagel or English muffin or 1/3 cup pasta. Grains should come largely from whole grain products.
