I am 24. I weigh 198. I need to lose weight. What will work?

The best way to lose weight is to cut back on calories and increase your activity. There isn't one certain diet that will accomplish this. Follow an eating plan consisting of whole grains, vegetables, fruits and lean meats. Be sure to watch your portion size. Cutting back on high-sugar and high-fat foods (cakes, soda, chips, alcohol, fast foods) can have a great impact.

Exercise needs to be part of the plan as well. Studies show that when people include both healthy eating and exercise they are more likely to be able to keep the weight off.
