Is cottonseed oil a good oil choice for everyday use?

Cottonseed oil is a polyunsaturated fat. This category includes corn oil and sunflower oil. A better choice for everyday use would be a monounsaturated fat, such as canola oil or olive oil. Monounsaturated oils are better for our heart health.

Remember, though, it is still a source of calories, and the daily recommendations state calories from fat should be no more than 30 percent of your daily intake.
