Is there danger in using lots of lemon juice on food? I use lemon juice instead of salt.

There aren't any problems that I'm aware of with using lemon juice as a salt substitute. Used sparingly, lemon juice brightens flavors without adding a recognizable lemon taste. If you try some in a baked potato you'll find that you can really cut down on the amount of salt, butter, and other not-so-healthy choices.
