BJC HealthCare is committed to leading an efficient and effective planning, design and construction process while being an industry leader in delivering best value facilities. BJC HealthCare's Planning, Design & Construction (PD&C) department oversees a Toolbox Management Program to select companies who have demonstrated the leadership and systems resulting in excellence and quality performance.
The purpose of the Toolbox Management Program is to enable PD&C to identify and pre-qualify construction, architectural design, MEP engineering, as well as prime subcontracting entities to work with us to accomplish our objectives in executing the facilities portion of the BJC HealthCare growth and development plans.
The Toolbox Management process establishes a protocol to evaluate potential service providers to BJC HealthCare that will be eligible to receive various Request for Proposal (RFP) opportunities. The intent is to match BJC qualified service providers with opportunities best suited to their talents and expertise.
PD&C maintains pre-approved Toolbox firms in the following categories: Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Flooring. All applicants must be full-service providers in their respective discipline.
