A member of the BJC Corporate and Public Communications team will help you navigate the medical center campus, identify contacts for your story, identify the appropriate location for your interview and coordinate photo or b-roll shoots. BJC requires that a member of our Corporate and Public Communications team escort journalists and news photographers while on the medical center campus. Additionally, the Corporate and Public Communications will:
- Coordinate on-camera and telephone interviews with experts from the Campus Renewal Project team
- Offer b-roll and photographs to accompany stories, as available
- Arrange on-site logistics for visiting news crews
To request an interview regarding the Campus Renewal Project, please direct inquiries to the BJC Campus Renewal Project office at 314-286-0756 or Kathy.Bretsch@bjc.org

BJC requires anyone associated with or commenting on the Campus Renewal Project, including all contractors, consultants, patients and visitors, to sign a consent form before being photographed, videotaped or interviewed by the news media or by an in-house photographer if the photograph is to be shown to the general public. The Corporate and Public Communications representative will secure the signed release before any photography or videotaping begins.
Site Safety Requirement
Our safety program requires that everyone entering a BJC construction site must wear flat, closed shoes (no open toes or heels) and personal protection equipment. The Corporate and Public Communications representative will make arrangements to provide the required personal protection gear. No exceptions will be made.
