Ribbon is cut; intersection opens

Sept. 1, 2017 - What began last December with the closing of a major roadway soon will be a distant memory as the project to construct a traditional four-way intersection at Forest Park Parkway and Kingshighway Boulevard concluded Sept. 1.

Cortex district partners break ground on new MetroLink station

June 8, 2017 - BJC joined local officials June 8 to break ground on a new MetroLink station that will serve the growing Cortex district and BJC employees working in the easternmost edge of the Washington University Medical Center campus. The new station is expected to be completed in about a year.

Going, going, gone

March 24, 2017 - Contractors finished filling in under Kingshighway this month with 9,000 cubic yards of infill material. 

March 11-12: Eastbound Forest Park closed Kingshighway to Euclid

March 11 and 12, between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., the retaining wall will be demolished along the eastbound lane of Forest Park Ave., between Kingshighway and Euclid. The eastbound lane will close. 

Taylor Ave. closed near Metro tracks two weekends

Oct. 11, 2016 - Construction of the elevated walkway "the link" connecting BJC employee parking with the main campus will require Taylor Ave. to close starting Friday evening and reopening Sunday evenings. Construction equipment be in the street enabling contractors to work over Taylor.
