Hospital president addresses safety

August 2018 - Trish Lollo, Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital president, spent some time August 9 talking with nearly 200 trades men and women at the project’s quarterly safety lunch. The lunches, sponsored by one of the project’s subcontractors, are an opportunity to remind the workers of the safety expectations and awareness of the hazards of other trades.

Testing the windows

June 2018 - The project team is testing the newly installed windows for air and water leaks before finishing the exterior and interior spaces around them.

Opening in 2019!

June 2018 - Construction of the new Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital is ongoing and will continue for more than a year. Take a look at the inside, and then keep up on the progress through videos, photos, stories and live webcam. 

Early move planning

May 2018 - Seeing construction of the replacement hospital every day, with fences, plastic barriers and exposed structural steel, it can be hard to visualize a fully functioning facility. But planning for that day is already taking place.
