Darius Jack Named IT Infrastructure VP
Darius Jack joined BJC June 4 as the vice president of information technology infrastructure and operations, reporting to Jerry Fox, BJC senior vice president and chief information officer.
In his role, Jack will provide strategic vision and lead the operations of BJC’s core infrastructure — including the IT data center, data and voice network, audio video conferencing, storage, systems and the network operations center.
Jack joins BJC from Western Union in Englewood, Colo., where he served as the vice president of data center operations and technology infrastructure since 2010. He has spent more than 26 years in the IT industry, including more than 15 years of experience in data center and infrastructure operations.
Jack holds a bachelor’s degree in computer information systems from Columbia College. He also has earned several certifications, including ITIL V3 certification, a CCS ITSM Champions Program Certificate and a Six Sigma Black Belt. Jack says he is excited about the opportunity to serve within the health care industry, ensuring IT technology and expertise for innovative solutions to help position BJC for sustained long-term success.
