At BJC HealthCare, we vigorously promote health literacy -- helping people understand their health risk factors and encouraging them to minimize those risks. BJC HealthCare reaches outside its own four walls to offer the community health education and screenings, support groups and other community benefit services to improve health, and increase access to preventive and remedial health care. We believe information empowers our community to act on its own good behalf to improve health status and, thereby, improve quality of life.
